I’m Jenette, a wife, mother of seven, and homestead dweller whose journey into doula care was inspired by my own birth experiences. I’ve had four beautiful home births, one hospital birth, and two free births—each one teaching me how powerful it is to have a calm, loving, and knowledgeable support person by your side. Those moments showed me how much a birth companion can change the entire experience, making it feel safe, empowering, and full of confidence.
Living on a homestead has taught me the value of patience, nurturing, and resilience—qualities I bring with me into every birth I support. Being a wife and mother shapes how I care for the families I serve, understanding deeply the importance of love and support during life’s biggest moments.
Becoming a doula was a natural step for me because I want to share that same comfort and strength with other mothers. Along with my doula certification, I’m also a trained medical assistant, which means I understand both the emotional and clinical sides of childbirth. I’m here to bridge those worlds for you—to offer care that supports your body, mind, and heart.
During labor, I’m your steady advocate and encourager. I’ll be there with you through breathing techniques, pain management, and relaxation, helping create a calm and positive space for your baby’s arrival. I’m also trained in neonatal resuscitation, so you can trust that I’m ready for anything.
But my support doesn’t end once your baby is born. The postpartum period can be full of challenges and changes, and I’ll be there with you—offering breastfeeding help, newborn care guidance, or simply listening with an open heart. My goal is to help you feel empowered and supported every step of the way.
To continue growing my skills and knowledge, I am currently pursuing certifications as a Lactation Counselor and Childbirth Educator. Combined with my training as a Certified Birth Doula, Medical assistant, and in neonatal resuscitation and CPR, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care throughout your childbirth journey.
